Join us for a fully guided hike through some of the most scenic trails in the Wicklow Mountains — combining forest paths, riverside walking, and open hillside with stunning views throughout.
We begin with a short walk to Ballard Woodland, following the Avonmore River and passing Jackson Falls before making our way up towards Trooperstown Hill Summit. We’ll take a short break here to enjoy panoramic views across the Wicklow Mountains.
From the summit, we descend back towards the Avonmore River for a relaxing lunch stop in a peaceful setting.
After lunch, we continue with a steady climb up Paddock Hill, before joining the Wicklow Way and following forest trails back towards Laragh village, completing a varied and rewarding loop.
This is a leisurely paced, fully guided hike with plenty of stops along the way. Along the route, your guide will share local knowledge, history, and stories that bring the landscape to life.
