  • I have been on four hikes now with WicklowMountainsGuide (Damien. I have really enjoyed them all, Damien has great knowledge of the history of Glendalough which makes for an interesting guide. I am an absolute beginner when it come to hiking and each time out I felt comfortably challenged, and encouraged by Damien. I would recommend WicklowMountainsGuide for all levels for a great day hiking

  • Aloha, My friend and I traveled 2 Ireland to hike The Wicklow Way a few months ago. It was a bucket list trip 4 me! We stayed at The Loughdan House with Sean and Theresa. I had planned 4 us 2 to hike South to North in 8 days. We were to have a guide . We met Damien Kennedy on our 1st day. He led us on 6 of the 8 days through The Wicklow Way. I would say we are novice hikers in International hiking. Damien is a great guide…..

  • Highly recommend this guided walk, Glendalough is a beautiful area.. The guide considered the different abilities of the group. Kept spirits high in the mist rain and was very informative of the area.. good craic had by all. Altogether a great experience.
